The Bay of Islands has an abundance of marine life including marlin, whales, penguins, dolphins and many other species specific to NZ waters. There are a number of suitable anchorages in bays around the islands, all dependent on sea and weather conditions prevailing, we can provide more detailed information of these anchorages, if required for any of the island groups.
